Paco's Custom Tile and Stone recently did some tile work in my summer home. I had a builder friend that used it for the weekend. He told me this was the most outstanding tile work he had ever seen. Paco is the best!

The guys were very open to listening to our ideas and did an excellent job in trying to fulfill those ideas.

Would not consider using any other company other than Paco's. Outstanding work! Highly recommend!

The Paco's Custom Tile and Stone team was knowledgable and quick to answer any questions I had. Their attention to detail in both the quality of work and maintaining a professional relationship was appreciated.

Y'all are the best. Office staff was courteous and efficient. Installer was quick, efficient and cleaned up his work area. Pacos Tile lived up to it's reputation! Will definitely use y'all again & recommend to others.

Excellent. I told him I needed the work done in 3 days and Paco came with a big crew and knocked off quickly. The quality of the work was excellent. I was going to buy the tile. He offered to buy it and passed on the 40% savings. He tiled about 660 SF basement including great room, office, laundry and hall. June 2016.
We had a custom kitchen backsplash (remodel) installed after new granite countertops. The installation involved a custom mosaic recycled glass tile with special installation requirements. Thanks to Paco, it turned out beautifully and works wonderfully with the new granite countertops. Paco was instrumental in working out issues that the interior decorator did not anticipate and making the change in plans work. It is actually more beautiful because of his suggestions. His motto 'Your tile, my art,', is very true. I will definately work with him again for any sort of tile, stone, stucco work.
I'm thankful to have found Paco and his team. We needed a major master bath remodel, and I wanted a professional and skilled tiler as well as an experienced Kerdi specialist to assure that our new walk-in shower would be installed expertly, built and waterproofed to last the next 20+ years. I interviewed several local professionals and chose Paco. Paco and his team gutted our bathroom, removed and disposed of all items, tore down an old wall and moved and framed a new one, slanted the shower floor (which is challenging to get right) and installed the linear drain I required, used the highest-quality waterproof materials for the walls and ceiling and grout, installed travertine stone throughout, and added a travertine backsplash after the marble countertops were installed. During the process, they discovered where a leak in the old shower had caused severe rotting, which they repaired. (The shower would have likely fallen through the floor in the next few years). He and his team also caught a leak in the shower line that our plumber had just installed, which allowed us to have it fixed before the shower was installed. While they were in our home, we also had them remove the carpet in the master bedroom and install travertine on the floor and around the fireplace as well as travertine around a tub in another bathroom. A true artist, Paco has vision and added ideas to my own to make sure the project turned out impeccable. He is a perfectionist and on-site, working alongside his team (Mago, Rigo and Felix). Paco and his team are talented and experienced, hard-working, courteous, neat, thorough, thoughtful, and a pleasure to have in our home and to work with, always cleaning up at the end of every work day, too. Pacos price is reasonable, also. He stands behind his work with warranties. His greatest interest is in making sure his customers are thoroughly satisfied, even at the end of exhausting days asking: Are you happy?? I am! It was a long project and worthwhile thanks to Paco and his team. Their work is incredible. I highly recommend Paco and we will be thrilled to hire him and his team for additional projects in the future. Major master bath remodel, backsplash, master bedroom floor, bathroom surround.
Paco was the most prompt responder when I inquired from 3 different tile specialists on AngiesList. He continued to be very timely (and polite) in his follow-up emails. He expressed interest in the project, offered immediate availability for an inspection and committeed to a project date the following week. On the day of the project he texted me to reconfirm before coming to the house, arrived exactly on time and worked cheerfully and efficiently to deliver a perfect job. He and his partner were very courteous and mindful of the rest of the house (and pets) when bringing in equipment and generating work dust. Paco did some on-site reshaping to achieve the optimal fit and our shelves look exactly as we wanted. In fact, I was so comfortable with Paco's work ethic, I left to go to work and he texted me pictures of the progress! I wish we had more tile work for him because we would contract with Paco again without hesitation. He is a complete professional. (Incidentally, the second responder to my initial project inquiry was the shelf supplier. Once he understood the project, he said what I needed was a "tile guy" and offered to give me the contact details of who he uses.... it was Paco!)
Paco was great. He communicated the service dates, length of service, and any issues along the way. He did everything exactly as he said he would do, this is the biggest thing I ask for in a contractor. There were a couple of minor fixes after the installation, he came right out and took care of it. The bathroom looks great. I'd highly recommend him. Paco and team removed all the tile from a shower and separate tub. They replaced it with new designer and accent tile.
Initially he came and took measurements and emailed them to Crossville Tile in Arden for me. I then visited the tile center with pictures of my kitchen and they made recommendations for a gorgeous glass/stone/stainless tile that tied together my floor, walls, granite top perfectly. I then scheduled Paco for a return visit to install after getting his estimate of $520. He returned with a crew of 2 assisting him, and sometimes working while he attended another job. My large kitchen was finished in a total of about 11 hours, basically a day and a bit more for grouting. Paco and his two young men were perfectionists, extremely hard working, and the most polite people you could ever meet. They cleaned up perfectly and brought and ate their lunch outside in their van. I know they are very busy with a huge commercial undertaking in another area (yes, his wonderful reputation is getting out there!), however, he still made room for my project and I am grateful.
Paco and helper Installed approximately 250 square feet of 18" x 18" porcelain tile in our kitchen and laundry room. During his first visit he measured for the job and inspected the existing sub floor. He then spent a lot of time discussing tiling options. After his first visit he emailed a quote. We asked that he come by again to discuss layout options. His quotes included replacing the underlayment, regular straight tile layout and other more complex options. We wanted the 18" tile laid at an angle throughout the kitchen and laundry room. We understood that this layout would involve more scrap from cutting tile and take longer to lay. Finally we asked him what would be his best price and he said that he would do the angle layout but charge us the same price as the regular straight layout. On the day of the install Paco said that rather than replacing the existing plywood underlayment with regular backer board our floor would benefit from a Ditra membrane underlayment. Though this material costs significantly more he would, because he had quoted the job with regular underlayment, pay the difference himself. The kitchen floor had several places that were not level but he corrected all of them and the finished floor was absolutely level. We have been in business for many years and must say that Paco is an exceptional small business person, ; his word is his bond, he is an artist and rarely does one come across a person that tries harder to please his customer. If there were an A+++ we would apply it to Paco and his team. Thanks Paco.
Paco responded immediately to my initial call and was able to schedule me within the week. He arrived on time. He and his assistant were both friendly. His work was excellent, he finished in a very reasonable amount of time. His price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.
Two men worked tirelessly for five days. Excellent work ethic, friendly, professional. Cleaned up as much as possible after messy parts of the job. We'd gotten an estimate for the shower surround, then asked Paco to replace the floor tile as well. We were delighted at the final price which was definitely lower than what we'd anticipated it might be. Both the shower tile and floor tile look wonderful, tiles are laid well, and grout sealed. In addition, they replaced flooring under the toilet when they found that it needed repair. They also installed a grab bar in the shower and Paco re-grouted part of the shower stall in our additional bathroom. We could not recommend Paco and his crew more highly! Their energy, trustworthiness, and craftsmanship was admirable. We would re-hire them in a heartbeat.
Paco is a true craftsman. He is simply the best at what he does and no else can compete with his pricing, quality, responsiveness and professionalism. I will use no one else. Dessccrriipttiion off worrk: : Installed custom shower pan, tiled shower, tiled around garden tub and tiled floor in master bath, as well as tiled the floor in my guest bathroom.
While re-grouting the shower in the master bathroom, Paco determined that there had been water getting behind the tile and standing. We decided to have the shower completely redone and while we were at it, the rest of the bathroom. Paco measured, gave us design ideas and alternatives. He gave us a firm estimate that he stuck to even though he had to make more trips than he probably thought he would initially. We ordered the tile and had it delivered to a location that he does business with and Paco picked it up and brought it to the house. He and his crew did a great job with the demolition and installation and kept the house as clean as can be expected under such conditions. Paco was very responsive to my phone calls and questions. I felt comfortable with Paco and his crew in my house even though we weren't there most of the time they were working. The job turned out great! We couldn't be happier. The tiled shower has a five year warranty and I have no doubt Paco will warrant his work.
Paco responded to my intial inquiry the same day and arrived the next day to give an estimate. He provided his estimate within a few days, as promised. When replacing the existing tile with an exact match wasn't an option, Paco helped us decide which would be the best replacement tile to match the other tile in the bathroom (the showers, floors, and tub surround all consist of the same tile which was discontinued in the size that was originally used). Paco connected us to the representative at the tile distributor who helped us order it and he picked it up before starting the job. When we ended up deciding to completely redo both showers instead of a partial redo, Paco was willing to negotiate on the estimated cost of the job. On the start date he brought a big crew for demolition and stayed late to get the new shower pans poured so they would have time to set before the project continued. He took care to remove the glass shower doors so they were able to be reused. Paco made suggestions for how to make the new tile look aesthetically pleasing and added some details to make it unique while still blending in with the existing tile. Paco and his crew were courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and were kind to our dog who was freely roaming about during the project. Paco was easy to reach and communicated with me by text message to update me on the progress, even sending me pictures of his proposed design as he came up with a new idea during the project. The project took 9 business days start to finish. Paco did check back with us to make sure that everything was working fine and to address any remaining concerns that we had. He conducts his business with integrity. The new showers LOOK GREAT and we are sure that the materials and technique that Paco used to rebuild them will NOT LEAK. We are very satisfied with the finished product and would recommend Paco without reservation. Demolish and rebuild two showers. Our showers were both leaking due to improperly installed shower pans.
Paco and his crew, Dennis and Rego were attentive to detail, and flexible to work completion. Tiling is one big puzzle and there is always one area that would be problematic, which is how I judge the quality of work. We are very happy with the result. (I just completed one of our other bathroom and that is how I can judge the tile work.) Installation of tiles in master bath and shower including deco trim and chair rail with custom marble inset.
Very professional operation. Paco kept us well informed during the whole process and showed up on time while doing excellent work. This is the second time I have had to rebuild this shower. The difference between this job and the last time is night and day.
Paco rescheduled both the estimate and the work but was texting me ahead of time so I wasn't left waiting. We decided on a Sunday work day which wasn't my preference but he and his worker were punctual and efficient. The grout was 95% better and Paco had said ahead of time it would not be 100% but it turned out better than I had expected for the grout.
I originally had Paco out to regrout in between my existing tiles, but what he found was that my existing tiles were put over just sheetrock, not hardy backer board. This meant that if he put grout back in, I would still be having a mold issue. He walked me through the process of retiling and how to do it economically. Every step of the way he was honest, communicative, his crew was respectful, and they left me with a bathroom much nicer than I ever anticipated! I will definitely be using Paco's Custom Tile for future projects. Paco and his crew retiled the floors, walls, and tub surround in my only small bathroom.
The process was a long one because he had to dig out the old and let it dry out because we had water damage. He also went under the house and killed the mold and sealed that for us. Paco is awesome he goes out of his way to make things right. We left him and his crew at our house when we weren't home - they are honest and responsible workers. I really like his crew a lot. He is coming back to tile our other bathroom soon.
Paco and his crew had to come in and fix a shower pan problem we had from our bathroom renovation of 2 years ago. He wanted to replace all the tile but because of the cost of purchasing the additional tile he only cut out the bottom three rows and the floor so he saved us money - but the amazing thing is that you can't even tell where he re-tiled. The job is excellent - the water doesn't stand anywhere in the shower any more either - it flows and the pan is at the correct slope. He also updated it with a shower bench replaced the
step up where the glass goes with granite to match my countertop and bench - all in all the job was awesome and my bathroom looks better now than it did before.
I am a designer of 30 years with a history of buying, renovating, and selling houses for a profit. I deal only in high end houses.
Paco Hernandez and his crew are exceptional and I do not hesitate in recommending him for any job large or small. He recently tore out a large shower and Jucuzzi area and totally rebuilt it. He had the knowledge and ability to rebuild this area that had extensive water damage to the flooring. Paco used only top quality materials and was meticulous in every detail. His work in installing top of the line
tile was that of an artist. When he and his crew left the project each day, it was cleaned beyond my expectations. He worked long hours and delivered on schedule. I have dealt with many subcontractors in my
30 years of renovations and he is by far the most professional of all!
He tore out a huge walk in shower and Jucuzzi area and rebuilt it from extensive water
damage.
Paco was very responsive and communicated with me during the entire process. His
crew worked hard to install the floors in record time. It looks beautiful and we like it so much more than the old floors. I would highly recommend Paco and his team! Installed waterproofing on slab and then wood-looking tile after a flood had taken out the wood floors in our guest house.
Paco and his team were polite, professional and very reasonably priced. I had a bit of
problem scheduling them initially, but we worked that out. When they got here, their work was REALLY excellent and they suggested a follow-up visit (at no extra cost) for some final
work. I am very very impressed, and will certainly use them again. April 2016.

Originally we had botched tile job in our kitchen and Paco tile was recommended to us. So when the fiber glass threshold had to be torn out, we call did not hesitate to call Paco tile. We had changes we wanted made and the estimator made suggestions that definitely improved the project. I went to the showroom with some pieces of the broken tile and told them what I had in mind and the showed me multiple options. We are very satisfied with the completed project. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend Paco tile. Project consisted of new flooring, a niche, accents tile, and matching demo tile.

The PCTS team did a fantastic job on our tile bathroom. On the coldest week we've had all winter, the guys overcame difficulty and worked like champions. They are truly craftsmen and the attention to details was even better than we expected. We will certainly recommend Paco's to anyone planning a tile project. Thank you!!
Graham Joscelyne, Columbus NC
Our whole experience from initial discussions with Taylor in the showroom, to final installation by Fernando and Fernando Jnr was a real pleasure. We highly recommend PACO
Erica Peterson, Asheville NC
Angie was always cheerful and able to connect me to Paco whenever necessary. When the plumbers inadvertently unleveled the bathroom floor before tiling, Paco's team worked until 7:20pm to correct the problem after working a full day at another job. Thank you!
Susan Glenn, Flat Rock NC
Paco & his team have always delivered excellent results for us. We are always extremely please with his work and professionalism.

Paco installed a pebble tile backsplash in my kitchen. Perfect, beautiful! He arrived when he said he would, completed the work as expected. He and his crew were very friendly, courteous and took care with our home and our pets. I will have more work soon for this great company. Updated 2018: Paco did our masterbath. Check out the portfolio photos under Wilson Bathroom. It is gorgeous work! The countertop uses the pebbles from the shower, then sealed with epoxy to make the surface easy to clean. I love it!

A very professional job overall. Very satisfied. The office personnel were very helpful and are an asset to your organization.
Karen Knaub, Saluda NC
I would and will recommend Paco to all our friends. We are very happy that they fixed our kitchen backsplash.

Absolutely the best I've used. I've had quite a few projects done by him and his crew. Large staff, you might see mortar guys, setting guys, grout guy and then Paco comes and inspects. Don't get worried about all the different people showing up. They know what they're there for and they clean, mop and vacuum their way out.
